We’ve been shortlisted for two national awards at the Home Improvement Agency and Handyperson Awards.
Revival is down to the final three for both Home Improvement Agency of the Year and the Innovation Award.
The Hospital Discharge Service is representing Revival in the Innovation Category, which last year supported over 1,000 people home from hospital.
The service provides valuable support in helping people return home from hospital, including food parcels, home adaptations and helping people maintain their independence once they return home. It also helps to free up hospital beds and reduces readmissions.
Revival has also been shortlisted for Home Improvement Agency of the Year for a high standard of service delivery across all areas of our work.
Last year, over 4,500 people received advice and support from the organisation.
The awards are run by Foundations, which is appointed by the government to oversee almost 200 home improvement agencies and handyperson providers across the UK.
Christina Timmis, Revival Manager, said: “I’m honoured and delighted that the Revival team has been shortlisted for Home Improvement Agency of the year as well as the Innovation award.
“It’s great to see the hard work and dedication of the team working across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire being recognised in this way.”
The event is the biggest award ceremony in the sector’s calendar and takes place on 13 July 2016 at the House of Lords.
